i took a hiatus from these forums weeks before the game launched and it was a mess and fast forward to now and its even more of a mess. all i see is multiple comments cirlce jerking each other saying the some things over and over again “lack of content” “that should of been there at launch” and many more like those and frankly it is as/ if not more annoying than a broken record. Many of you knew what you would be getting in the first few months of halo 5s life cycle. You knew that the game was going to be lacking content because they told you specifically what was going to be in there but yet that didnt stop you from buying it. If you’re in that population that didnt know what halo 5 was going to offer for whatever reasons then you need to start looking up information on the products that you will be buying. oh but “life and job kept me from looking those things up” that is no -Yoinking!- excuse it only takes a couple of minutes to look up information. So in general the gaming industry is turning into something crappy with games releasing with little when 1990s- early 2000 games had much more, content gets locked on the disc but gets sold for more money, paid dlc, season passes, mico transactions, numerous bugs, exclusive content, and many other big issues with the industry and halo 5 suffers from it to. so i ask again why do you people not vote with your wallet and not buy things? i bought destiny months after it launched and after that i did not buy any dlcs and later quit the game and broke my cd, i did not buy halo 5 (and probably wont because im really looking into pc gaming) , i did not buy star wars battlefront. in short i voted with my wallet, no matter how interested i was in it if it didnt have what i wanted or enough of it or if it was being infected by the tripple a disease i lost all interest and decided to skip it why cant you do the same?
You say “you” like we are all one person. Like some kind of gravemind or the Borg where we all share info? There’s a lot of explanations for why you’re seeing the posts you’re seeing. But complaining about them will never solve the problem that’s bugging you.

oh so am i supposed to type everyone’s -Yoink!- forum name instead of ‘you’? this isn’t complaining its a question
I voted with my wallet by buying the game used. I didn’t contribute a sales figure to 343. Instead, one sales figure was split between me and whoever bought my copy first. Halo 5 is about half of what it should be. Half a game = half a sales figure. I think that’s fair.
Only reason I really bought Halo 5 was for the Campaign, and even then only because I had a gift card laying around.
Came with 14 days free xbox live. Played Warzone at first, eventually it just got way too laggy to be playable and my service ran out.
At any rate, 90% of my gaming is indie games on the PC these days.
In light of all the negativity, the game is actually pretty solid. Naturally the ones enjoying it are playing it, the ones who don’t are here to complain. That’s just how the nature of gaming communities goes. I knew fully that the game was going to be lacking content months before release, months before I put my preorder in… the thing is, it didn’t bother me one bit. I forge a bit here and there, but I don’t consider it the lifeblood of Halo. I was willing to wait on that.
If you’re considering swapping to console gaming but have an abstinence towards MTs and paid DLC, you might want to think again… AAA PC titles are where a lot of that stuff originated from before it came to consoles, and they still practice it on the regular.

Calm down man. There’s a simple explanation. The people that are complaining about a lot of stuff are mostly “iron recruits”. They’re new to the forums. And I can’t blame them for not researching what precisely is or is not going to be in a game. It’s not like you’re buying a house or something.

well you’re right about the tripple a pc thing and how thats where everything started but atleast there are more options out there on pc so if i wanted to completely escape from the tripple a industry nonsense i can. on consoles though you cant escape from it since the majority/if not all console game are tripple a titles
I knew what I was getting and voted with my wallet by pre-ordering the legendary version.
Very happy with my purchase and can see my self playing it on a daily basis for years to come, my biggest gripp is the reduced radar range in arena it’s pretty useless now.

Really? It’s still helped me a fair bit even with its reduced range.
It’s the lowest selling halo of all time and its online population is/has dropped faster than H4s did
I would say people are voting with their wallets
I, for one, did vote with my wallet. Doesn’t change the fact that 343 still released a crappy and incomplete game and should be shunned for it.
