In the first Halo Wars 2 Beta (non-blitz), one of the new Banished Units, the Shroud, was present. It was like the Nightengale in that it couldn’t attack, but instead of providing a healing field it had a Cloaking field that it could project over nearby friendly units. And yet, in the Blitz Beta (and full game as far as I can tell), the Shroud is the only previously-seen unit without a card (or card variants) in Blitz. However, there is an Ability card in Blitz called “Cloaking Field,” and it’s pretty obvious what it does and why it makes the Shroud appearing in Blitz highly redundant.
Except, I haven’t seen it appear in any currently released Halo Wars 2 gameplay, and the fact that the Nightengale and Restoration Drones exist as separate Blitz Cards has me worried that the Shroud may have been cut in favor of a Leader Ability. If anyone here can find evidence that it is in the full game, in case I missed something, please link me to the source below.
Edit: Nevermind, saw a video with it ingame. Though, it’s odd that it’s not in Blitz.

Were you the guy who posted on Reddit “who remembers the shroud?” Lol,
I mean, it’s a pretty great unit but not meme worthy or anything, might be heavily used, might not be. No way to tell yet
