I think they should have a slayer pro Gametype again, but have game types with different weapon settings for pro like slayer BRs or slayer DMRs, no radars (and actually no radars), no support upgrades or tactical packages (only resupply). They should make it have no personal ordinances, only initails and ransoms, (initails are snipers, ransoms are rockets). Just to bring that old MLG feel in Halo Reach and Halo 3. Also, what’s up with the new CSR rankings? It lets kids try get 50s with active camo, like that’s just the coolest stuff ever. Not really. Frustrating when kids don’t deserve wins cause they can camp invisible with a sniper. Like really, but if there were a slayer pro playlist again, I’d rip some on that. (And don’t tell me about throw down, that playlist is pretty garbage, like MLG but worse).
AND, I forgot. For the pro playlists have them only spawn UNSC weapons but power weapons based on halo 3/reach MLG
What exactly did Slayer Pro have that Throwdown doesn’t?

The only differences are the loadouts, no radar, and Throwdown has personal ordnance (though you can only get AAs) from what I can tell.

Assault Rifle Loadout.
Vanilla maps.
So in other words, nothing of importance.

The Pro gametype in the playlist lacks Personal Ordinance, and features all 4 precision loadouts.
It looks like their focus is on Throwdown and the upcoming Legendary Slayer:
> As some have mentioned above, Team Slayer Pro was one of the lowest populations following Halo 4 launch. We took the playlist offline for a while, worked with several competitive community leaders, and created Team Throwdown. The playlist has received several updates, including the new addition of “pro” settings that utilize 4 pre-set rifle loadouts.

> Also, be on the lookout for Legendary Slayer, which will offer alternate weapon balance and an experience that is very different from Team Throwdown’s current offerings. Details, when available, will be posted in the Matchmaking Update.
