The precursors were believed to be wiped out of existence by one of their creations the forerunners because they had attempted to wipe them out of existence.
The flood was brought into the milky way galaxy be a team of naive human scientists who wanted to study the powder more thoroughly, which eventually led to it’s out break. The precursors vengeance plan was to make the forerunners pay for their treachery by destroying them from he inside-out.

I wouldn’t say the “HUMANS” brought the Flood spores into the milky way galaxy, just that the humans discovered them on remote planets and started to study it.

Also (Pleas tell me you read primordium), you discover that the reason why the precursors wanted to destroy the forerunners was because
A: they had a nack for destroying species they did not like
B: according to the TO the forerunners failed the test that would prove if they were worthy of upholding the MANTLE.
and yes they also did want vengeance on the forerunners for “possibly” annihilating the entire precursor civilization.

I wouldn’t call it vengeance. After the Forerunners’ mass-killing-spree, some fled outside of the galaxy. I think the Precursors were disappointed in the Forerunners, and saw that they could not bear the mantle that protects all life. So, as a last resort to bring peace to the galaxy, the Precursors made the Flood- a species that consumes all thinking beings (beings that can start wars, generally) and will strive to become Precursor-adjacent with sufficiant bio-mass.
No I have not read primordium yet, but there has to be someway at least some of them survived, otherwise h4 won’t be as epic and cool as I thought it would be, now the precursors like the humans more am I right? So will they possibly be an ally if there hopefully still alive?

I won’t spoil the end of primordium for you but A LOT of precursors are still alive somewhere outside the Milky Way and the precusors would NOT ally with humans. To understand why you would have to read the end of primordium.
