What happened to the old waypoint ranks?

What was the reason behind removing the old rank system? With the old system, you could tell how long someone had been playing halo and looking at the forums, which I think is good when trying to put people’s opinions into perspective

If you click on someone’s name it shows you when they joined the forum.

All the old info was lost when they moved the forum over to discourse.

I lost my CMotW badge :cry:

They love removing all our records. Now we dont even have a service record in game.
