Hi I was just wondering what happened to these maps a I have not seen them in matchmaking for quite some time now, or am I just looking in the wrong playlist as I have’nt seen them for a while. Can anyone confirm if they were removed or if they are still there just in other playlist and if so which ones.

This. Those maps were garbage. Now if only the Cage/Uncaged had gotten the same treatment…

Just because you were unhappy with the maps doesn’t meant everyone was unhappy with them. I personally liked the maps and hate the fact that Asylum, Cage and hemorage are still strongly used and these two forgoten. It isnt fair to only play them in customs as they are part of the orginal maps that shipped with reach and every other one besides them can be played.
Pinnacle is still around quite frequently in Team Slayer.
Both are still in existence, don’t worry.

He speaks the truth man. Those maps were removed well before Bungie handed over the reins to 343i. They were removed due to their unpopulaity with the population.
Wow, these two Swat maps are literally the reasons that I played Reach… I’m done with Halo.
I’m positive I played Pinnacle last night. I was playing Slayer, think it could have been Super Slayer… but it’s most certainly still around there.
Pinnacle is in super slayer and multi team, and paradiso is in invasion, multi team, and Btb rarely.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe that those are correct.
I honesly loved those maps in SWAT. But i think you mean uncaged and Pinnacle. Two very very goood maps.
Pinnacle is still around. Paradiso a little less so, I’ve only seen it in Invasion Slayer.
I enjoyed Paradiso because of the island layout. If only the banshees on it were a little less ‘lethal’.

That would be TERRIBLE.
I played Paradiso last week in BTB. That map is great. You can snipe, drive a tank, fly a banshee, fight close quarters, or fight mid range.
It gets crazy if you let the other team get all the cool stuff but that’s part of the game.

Like I said, if it was weakened a bit, it wouldn’t be so bad for nostalgia sake on certain gametypes like the standard slayer stuff.
I don’t remember it being so bad in Halo 2, especially with the homing rockets, but would never ever put Reach’s current version on the map considering it now effortlessly dodges the exact thing that made quick work of it on Pinnacle.
Would be overkill and utterly unfun for everyone except the guy or team with it.
They removed them from most playlists because they were the two worst maps in the game.
A modified version of Paradiso called Utopie still comes up in big team, that’s terrible as well. You can get Invasion Slayer on Paradiso but people hardly ever vote for it. 1 Flag Pinnacle comes up a lot in team objective, Pinnacle is also pretty common in Multi-Team.
Those are the playlists you’re most likely to get it in.
They really need to add more maps into MM. All these forgers have had a long time to get good and Im sure theirs a treasure trove of good maps out there. Im tired of the same 6 maps over and over…

Yeah the maps are still around just not in swat. Please bring them back to swat 343Industries I hate that there are only three maps that are mainstream. Asylum, Reflection, and Countdown are alright but the same thing again and again makes the swat playlist a bit boring. Was there an error when the system servers were transferred from Bungie to 343Industries?
