I don’t see a visor on any of those except Operator and Rogue. I’m an avid halo fan, and I’m absolutely confused by these armor sets!
What is 343 trying to do? It looks atrocious! Can someone point out the visor, or explain to me how these look remotely close to space marines and not characters from Tron?

Personally, they look awesome. But yeah, the lack of actual visors is gonna be annoying.
Oh yeah and if you don’t like them just use the classics
They dont look the bad. im lovin the operator, stalker, and rogue helmets. likin the engineer too. rogue armor looks the best though.
I actually think they look pretty cool. It’s a nice change from seeing the same old helmets again.

I totally agree with the original poster, they do not feel halo’ie. They look like star wars meets power rangers and it irritates me. The armor is whatever, but the faceplates, visors, helmets whatever you want to call it just looks awful. I want all the halo reach helmets and variations of that… not some Boba Fett starwars looking stuff.

You want reasoning? Okay well in my opinion, they look nice. I don’t need a visor to think a helmet looks good. To me, it’s a creative step.

It’s hard to provide a reason other than “I like the way they look.” Similar to how you can’t provide a reason other than “They look ugly.” This is just a matter of opinion, there is no right or wrong.
All of those look terribad. Mainly just the helmets that I can’t get around with.
Well I’m wondering who are on these forums, I remember I use to be all over bungie.net before Halo 3 but I was back in highschool, and now I am 22 with a loaded plate and responsibilities and blah blah blah, so I don’t get on forums much.
What I’m saying is that if this is a new generation on the forums they would agree because they probably didn’t grow up with the masterchief (whom none of these spartan IV’s resemble) They probably have not read the Novels and visualized Kelly Linda and Fred all wreaking havok in their bulky sweet emerald armor along side Kurt, Tom and Lucy with their more halo reach’esque armor (SPI armor) and have come to really develope a true sense of UNSC design and function.
I feel like these look like some hardcore Japanese ANIMAE robots thrown in to try and grab that audience over seas. I’m offended as a player, as a fan, and just in general at how obtuse looking the character models have gotten. Will I still get the game? Of course, but its because I won’t leave a story unfinished, not because I’m pumped to play some powerranger Zoid looking mechano’man.
