This is so stupid, now i either have to play those super-casual trash gamemodes like Superfiesta and Actionsack, or i’m forced to play those super-sweaty ranked gamemodes with all 'em wannabe-snip3downs in it. Social Skirmish was good for something inbetween. Great decision 343, once again, great decision.

yep. more comfirmation for me personally, this is the last Halo game I’ll ever own. If Halo 6 isn’t just vaporware at this point, you couldn’t pay me enough money to play it, much less pay for it, it’ll be a carbon copy of Halo 5 or worse and will continue to not remotely resmble the fun us “non-pros” had in the BUNGiE era, ie Halo 2, 3, Reach’ mp. The Halo franchise is dead, its time Microsoft focused on new IPs including many of the first party games they cancelled in the past year or so. Guarantted to outsale a hypothetically “Halo 6”.

Or… that’s just what 343’s says. Would like to look at their hard numbers on that versus hard numbers on the other playlists. They were also well populated whenever I went to the playlist, and that includes the dead hours for night owl/early morning where action sack and a couple other playlists are totally dead, around 6am EST, there were always matches there, not in a few others, and Team Arena in RANKED the closest thing to skirmish has been sporadiac to the point where outside peak hours, it could take up to 5 minutes to find a match if it even does. Without proof that 343 claims is true it seems that the oppositre is the truth, Team Arena in Ranked is the real underperformer, skirmish competes with it, but since its not ranked, people were more comfortable with it, 343 never made this game or wanted this game to be played by “social” or “casual” players that made up the population of BUNGiE’s game, they made this game soley for MLG type players and the esports circuit, they were especially “behindhurt” or Halo 4 getting rejected by the majority of the esports community after not striking the right balance BUNGiE did, so they decided to continue not striking balance the other way, making the soley for multiplayer and solely for “pro” gamers, leaving us long stand Halo customers out in the wind. Heck, they didn’t even split in a social and ranked until around this time last year, and action didn’t start util around end of august or september, almost a year after lauch, Halo 3 came right out the box divided by two sections, RANKED AND SOCIAL, this wasn’t the case with H5, everything was centered around esports, which is why the campaign was so short, so terrible, and I don’t recognize its ‘plot’ as canon. Han shot first. 343’s like if Greedo shot first. But this was a move to populate RANKED’s falling population and it wouldn’t surprise me if they start removing more and more social playlists until there’s only ranked again like at launch.

This move is DEFIANTLY forcing my hand to stop playing altogether. This removes one more avenue to try to obtain and complete the stronghold commedations that were already hard as heck to get and strongholds is a really horrible gametype that’s a real cheap imitation of territories as it is, I would never play this gametype if there weren’t commedations for it, wish there was griffball commedations instead, but we have to suffer strongholds because, again, 343 thought they were being “original” … Halo Reach’s headhunters was “original”, strongholds is not, and now, if it hasn’t been removed from BTB which is a playlist NOT for randoms/lone wolves like myself, the ONLY OTHER way of earning stronghold commedations in H5 as it stands is one playlist in RANKED, that’s it. I don’t have alot more goals to work for in Halo 5 multiplayer, but the ones I do have are long, cumalative grinding goals that most now I’ll never meet, so why not give up on the game now and delete it off my harddrive for something a huge in size in GBs like Doom? I already gave up on the EXTREME long term goal of getting achilles armor ever as I gave up on the ‘simpler’ goal of getting into spartan company of friendly people that one needs to try to earn achilles. So I 've been playing nearly for a year straight and no achillews armor to show for it because I didn’t have a spartan company to join. With that goal dashed, I tried to get to rank 152, but I don’t think I have the heart to keep playing to finish my rank 149 to 150 much less about 5 more months to MAYBE get to rank 152. So there goes that goal , what other goal is there? Commedations/emblems, well that’s gone too. Bad enough343 started dividing DoubleXP “weekends” that only happen three times a year to ‘certain’ playlists, but this padt double XP weekend they deliberately made their “NEW” sniper playlist, which we already have one in Ranked, eligable for double XP, but Team Skirmish, THE PLAYLIST THEY SAY NEEDED MORE POPULATION did not recieve double XP. Extremely suspect, they could have had one last ditch effort to increase population this padt weekend before deliberately yanking it but they chose not to. Very telling. Bottam line is, 343 just gave me an incredible nudge, nay, shove, to stop playing their quiete inferior Halo knock-off, I was already tetering with reasons why am I still playing anymore, this was an unexpected wake-up call to re-priortize my gaming experiences, especially with the immense back log of games I have.

ROTFLMAO! Reading through that thread, I’m pretty sure OUR feedback would NOT be appreciated, as evidence by ANYONE offering anything differing from the forum monitors get shot down quiete mightily. Besides, they’re the forum monitors, not the devs or playlist programers. To use an analogy here, think Spicer, Huckabee or the Mooch, when you’re trying to convey getting a bill passed by the President himself. The devs/programers at 343 have a HUGE disconnect between them and their consumers, especially with “old school” long term customers… of BUNGiE’s!

And this is why since 343 has taken over Halo and why despite have a lot of grievences with the game I typically DO NOT post on this anti-consumer forum. “<mark>Redacted</mark>” just censored my post, sent me a warning and will likey do it again for critising a thread on the same topic where the moderators post then LIED that I violated rules forums and cited 3 rules it could be, but none of them applied. I didn’t discuss a moderator’s ruling actions, I did critise THEM for CRITISING everyone else who had an opposite opinion of the situation. I think <mark>Redacted</mark> just abused his power to prevent some noboby on the internet make him look bad. But this was NOT moderating with accordance to the rules I was sited.

I’m done with Halo.
Holy Halo 5 forums the lack of paragraphs in this thread is off putting. Anyway, whatever they do to keep things consolidated an flowing is fine with me. Although I am a little surprised that TS would be the least populated since in Reach and 4 those were always the most populated.
Either way I am fine with it being removed. I rarely played that playlist. People claiming it was casual when it clearly was not. I can play ranked all day, and have a great time doing it too.
