What Happened to Respawning with Your Team?

Over time, I could tell this game was just a cluster of confusion for the most part (especially compared to previous Halo titles). I figured it was just the personal ordnance, instant respawn, ect. Although I started to pay closer attention and I noticed it’s the spawning. Team Slayer/Objective… my team will respawn all over the map. Why?

So, I looked into it further and realized in custom game options, there’s actually a “Spawn with Team” option and it is off for standard gametypes… but why?

I don’t understand how respawning with your team was an issue?

At least closer to your team, instead of the other side of the map. There could be some variance based on game type. I’m tired of spawning and instantly shot in slayer matches because I’m by myself. At the same time, if people spawned on the hill or next to the ball holder, objective games would be absurd.

I hated spawning on teammates in older games. I would just end up spawning right in front of a teammates which would then run into me and start pushing me, which enrages me, which leads to their death via team kill
