What happened to Ordnance?

It seemed like a big thing before Halo 4 came out, with all that chat of the Infinity providing support for the Spartans with the Ordnance, but it’s turned out to not really be anything… Even in Wargames it’s barely used (I.SLY and BTB are about it?) and I was expecting it to be a big part of Spartan Ops, but no.

My thinking had been that because Wargames was the training grounds of the Spartans, they would give them training that would be useful in real life (Save for Grifball, but that’s a sport and plain awesome), which, in Halo 4 equates to Spartan Ops. But it’s absents. Sure, there’s all that talk of ‘sending supplies’ but that’s about it…

Ordnance isn’t really a part of Halo 4, just a feature that’s in a few gametypes. What happened? Was it just a change of plan, a design choice, due to unpopularity(If people were upset with it), or what?

[PS: I can understand the powerups not being in Spartan Ops, although maybe Overshield, but there’s a new season of Spartan Ops around the corner, with a TU… Could be added in… winkwink]

It’s in the games two most popular playlists, and it is featured in many Spartan Ops missions.

What more do you want?

I’m glad it’s not throughout the entirety of matchmaking and confined to those two playlists.

I’m glad they’re in the 2 gametypes I don’t play, they unbalance the game significantly (along with the DMR+BS) due to my consistent needler drops
