What happened to my spartan?

So I finished a game of griefball and was greeted to this strange sight

is it a texture glitch like the pink spartans of the beta?

It is just a lighting glitch. Most of the time you Spartan will appear slightly darker. But sometimes that happens. Depends on the map you play.
