As said in the Halo 4 Panel today, Master Chief wasn’t finished in the trailer, just like the CEA Trailer.
His armour was a place holder.

Dang i thought all the master chief missing diaper threads where over by now because everybody knew about it.
The final design for The Chief haven’t been announced yet. I bet when they announce him, he’ll be looking awesome, codpiece and all.
