After the campaign, John just seemed to vanish in thin air. I would think he would be right there doing his thing during the spartan ops events, paticuarly helping out as infinity was on a crash corse with the sun. What’s the deal? Was he deployed elsewhere by the UNSC?
I want to know that too… what happened to Chief in that six months between the end of Halo 4 and the beginning of Spartan Ops?
I assume that he is not on the Infinity anymore during the events of Spartan Ops. Got probably stationed on Earth for something. Gets meeting with Lord Hood and so on. Maybe he did even help the Arbiter Thel 'Vadam to deal with his problems on Sanghelios.
We can just guess… and hope that this story get’s told in the next Halo’s (game or book).
