To anyone who has read the Thursday War,
I am after finishing the Thursday War and was disappointed that there was absolutely no reference to any of the remaining Spartan II’s(Linda, Kelly and Fred). It didnt even explain what happened to them or if they even joined the spartan IV program.
I was also surprised that they didnt make an appearance in Halo 4. I would be very disappointed if 343 left them out of the Reclaimer trilogy.
Would anyone else like them to make another appearance?
I hope they make an appearance in either whatever the third book is or Halo 5. Because seriously, they need to show up. We can’t just throw them away.

I reckon they’ll be back at some point, whether in the next game or the next book Karen Traviss is writing. I was a bit gutted too but it leaves some possibilities open (:

Exactly. Although I did notice in Halo 4 when you have the IWHBYD skull on and leave your aimer on some of the spartan IV’s they make a reference to each of them. But other than that there is no mention of them

I know but still they were a big part of Master Chiefs life so you never know…
from what ive read not sure if true granted, the remaining spartan 2 and spartan 3s have a choice to be inducted into spartan 4 program

In the Fall of Reach, Fred got lost in space as his thruster pack was shot and he lost control, Linda was killed by plasma fire and Kelly was on the ground. Linda may still somehow be alive, but I doubt it. So basically, their dead.

Read the other Halo books and The Kilo-Five Trilogy to discover their fates.

It was also hinted that other Spartans survived and some are “secret”, so don’t be surprised if more appear later.

…what? That is 100% incorrect, asides from Linda, who was later revived anyway. You seem to be very behind on your Halo lore, since those three Spartan-IIs and at least one more (though I’m assuming that Grey Team is probably still alive and kicking) have survived.

He is making fun of the fact that originally 117 was basically the last Spartan but as the years have progressed pretty much every Spartan II turned out to be actually alive.
