Probably one of the most asked questions but seriously what do you guys think happened to one of the best spartans in Halo?
It’s revealed in Initiation that he escaped Reach and is actively recruiting Spartan-IV candidates. He hasn’t been seen or mentioned in any media since.
I somehow managed to survive the battle on the planet Reach, do not know how, but apparently in Halo comic Initiation is one that I select the first candidates for the Spartan IV Project; and apparently he is removed from the action
After escaping Reach through unknown means, he employed as a recruiter and trainer for the SPARTAN-IV program.
Maybe we’ll SE him in a future title

It’d be very interesting to know how he escaped Reach, and why he was not at CASTLE Base when the remnants of Red Team arrived. That’s a pretty big plot hole.

Another reason I wish they had left him dead.
On a side note: Jun was mentioned by Catalog is a post a while back. He’s alive as of 2558 and acting as a Spartan Commander in the Spartan Branch.
I personally think that 343 should make A Fistful of Arrows canon, as it offers a plausible explanation for Jun’s survival; the Superintendent of Quezon has a hidden prowler for use in escaping Reach. Possibly, Jun could have used this ship to escape the planet’s glassing.

I’d definitely love to see him come and make a surprise re-appearance! He’s one of the best!

They weren’t leaving Reach, they were heading to another ONI facility.
Well I read a fictional comic that shows a possible theory of what happened to Jun and it’s actually very interesting and has or had pottential…its name was Halo Reach: A Fistful of Arrows, I think.
Well, out of all these comments, I think Jun is still alive.
When it comes to explaining Jun’s survival, I wouldn’t mind a top-down shooter like Spartan Assault/Strike. In fact, I have a strange feeling that that’s going to end up happening.
Inb4 Jun gets killed off-screen in Escalation.
He escaped Reach by unknown means and we don’t know what happens until after Halo 3’s time when he reappeared in Halo: Initiation. In initiation, he acted as a co-founder of the Spartan-IV Program and recruited the first batch (Palmer, Davis, etc). He trained them and was particularly close to Palmer whom he mentored. Palmer chose her Scout armor as an homage to Jun. After that, we haven’t heard or seen anything about him.
