He went on to train the S-IV’s. He is the one who recruited Buck and Palmer into the program.
Short version: he went on to become the chief of staff of Spartan Operations and head recruiter for the SPARTAN-IV program. His last known location was the Spartan Training Space Station, where he apparently stays, as of October 2558.
