Obviously he made it out alive. If like for him to appear in the upcoming halos either in game or talked about what happened to him.
I doubt that he will make another appearance in a Halo game. The story of Reach is over, so they won’t bring back characters. The Reach legend ended when Noble Six died.

He didn’t make it out alive. Halsey said he is dead in her journal. If you read First Strike, it entails what happened between Halo CE and 2. They do go back to Reach, but the only Spartans there are some Spartan IIs.
Jun is gone and he won’t come back, he a dead man. He died transporting Halsey. What Reach doesn’t say, is where. They were heading towards an old titanium mine (or platinum, can’t remember). In First Strike, Halsey only has a few Spartan IIs with here defending, no Jun.

Spartans never die, or do they? I wish that Jun made it out. Who knows? 343 may re-introduce him or mention him as found. I hope so. Who likes it when an entire squad is KIA with no one to tell the tale? No one.
