What happened to Jorge?

I know Jorge manually activated the slip space drive, but wouldnt that just teleport him with the ship.

The ship was sent to a random place in space, without his helmet on in deep space, he’ll be dead.

Yeah but how do you know there wasnt another helmet on the pelican? Or he took one of the dead marines oxygen tanks like the one noble six had? I think he’s alive, it is fully possible. Also Carter may be alive, what if he armor locked?

Another Spartan II helmet?

Not likely, at all.

Can’t you guys just accept he is dead instead of trying to go with the assumption that there was some way for him to stay alive.

The whole point in Halo: Reach was to show the losses Reach had for both humanity and Spartans, you started off before joining Noble team as a lone wolf and after all of Noble Team died, a lone wolf again, it was meant to be like that.

He could’ve put his helmet back on, but I accept that he’s dead. Jun on the other hand…

What he said, before the comma^

He teleported into an alternate dimension where the laws of physics are so completely bass-ackwards that humans in the Halo games use it to fast-travel. He was not inside of an intact Slipspace-capable vessel, but instead inside of the exposed hangar of a broken half-ship that had not prepped for Slipspace travel. This, without even having his helmet on.

Chances are that even if the transition to Slipspace didn’t immediately kill him, the extreme variance in the laws of nature and physics did.

Listen to the cutscene before the mission. Specifically when Kat says “teleported into oblivion.” He’s gone.

The real question is Jun. He left SWORD with Halsey, but when the Chief finds her in Halo: First Strike, she is without him.

I’m hoping for a tie-in to Halo 4, personally.

Yea, Jun was a pretty cool character… It would be cool if maybe they actually put visuals to the books like first strike, bc theres other cool stories of spartans, like for example Anton O44?

when jorge took off his helmet he just dropped it, he could have always just put it back on.
