Everyone remember the guys that were related to Jackals?
I havent seen anything related to them being in Halo 5 
Did they all get wiped out like the flood or something?

hmm I didnât know that. I kinda liked those guys.
The simply befell the fate of Bungie wanting to add in a new enemy in an âalready occurred gameâ. Obviously they were going to have to retcon their entire absence from other games.
True true but i still wouldnât mind to have them instead of jackals at least. Jackals are old and outdated and to easy to kill. almost easier then grunts -.-

Cheap way to explain why they were absent in halo 1-3 and if they were gone after halo reach, rendering them out of combat for halo 1 2 and 3 and now 4 and 5, maybe they will return in infinite. Seems like a decent explanation for them being gone after reach but falls a little short for why they havenât returned in 5
