What happened to grifball

I haven’t played halo 5 in a long time and when I went to social looking for grifball it wasn’t there what happened to it and is it coming back

Much rather play Grifball than Infection on social. Get those extra medals in bulk. Please 343?

Still missing the old days when all of the playlists were always readily available. As a person whose interests change like the winding rivers, there are some days I want to just play Warzone FF, and there are others I feel like playing Grifball…but every time I want to play Grifball, it’s currently ‘out of rotation’.
