The title is pretty self explanatory, but I really do miss grifball. It’s been gone for months now, and I feel like the mode has been forgotten. The team killing kind of sucks, but I do miss the gameplay and aspect of it. Coincidentally, this is one of the only modes that I’m pretty decent at. Would love to see the old mode have its return!
I’m pretty sure griffball is one of the rotational playlists, so it should return at some point. I don’t know how long it stays now with the shortened playlist options but we’ll see.
Grifball is actually coming back as one of the later playlists in February from what it says on the latest community update. I think it comes back on the 20th.
I think they are renaming it tho…
It will now be called SnifBall.
On a serious note; I do like having it as an option to play. More mindless fun than the other modes.
The reason what happened to grifball is that its getting little bit over popularated like castle wars. So yeah…they got rid of it but you can find grifball in custom games browser or make your own.
I love grifball but I get banned so hard lol. I can’t help it if a teammate and a enemy that’s about to score are in the vicinity of my hammer radius!
Yeah sometime teammates are bad about spacing out. I usually avoid getting close to teammates, give them a lot of space. I’ll take a backup stance if other team is attacking.
