Since the game dropped, every Thursday, all of the challenges have been for firefight. What happened? I used to look forward to Thursdays because of this. Why the change?

Cause people were raging about too many firefight challenges.

There was a post a few days ago stating they were doing stuff behind the scenes and to pardon their dust as it were. This was in reference to the same weekly 2 weeks in a row. I assume this is related.
That’s unfortunate. I can’t always make time to play everyday, but would make time for the Thursday FF challenges. I’ll miss them.

90%? Do you mean for just today, or for the entire week? Because today it’s 75% (3 out of 4, assuming you count “light fare” as a FF challenge, even though you can do it in multiplayer).

I would have been MUCH happier had they simply done a day of only MM challenges to balance it all out.
The Community is always complaining. One day, they say we don’t want FireFight challenge. Then our good 343i listen to them and change it to Multiplayer. The next day, They say we don’t want Multiplayer challenge. Really guys, If i was in 343i, I’d be super confused now.

I don’t think so.
It would make sense, but I don’t think that’s the case.

I don’t think it’s fair to lump the entire community into a single entity with a single opinion. That is certainly not the case. When they were lobbying against FF challenges, I lobbied to keep it as is. Apparently I didn’t type loud enough.

Agreed. I understand that not everyone likes FF, but it was one day out of 7. MM challenges still far outweigh the FF ones. Apparently this wasn’t enough for some people.
So long as they balance it out by having a few matchmaking and a few firefight dailies every day, and an alternating multiplayer and firefight weekly, I wouldn’t see reason to complain. What their plans truly are however is something they are apparently keeping to themselves. Be vocal about it and maybe a mod will respond about it.

Agreed. I just look forward to having one day just for FF, rather than having the challenges spaced out sporadically during the week. It’s only a problem because I can’t play every day.
