I dislike what 343 is doing more than I should have to. We are getting these updates and they are being called dlc and all this nonsense when it is stuff that should have came with the game. It’s sad to see halo become one of those online necessities. Players that don’t have online shouldn’t have to be limited to campaign, when the old games allowed for local custom games and forge. This bring me to my topic. Why do we need online for forge and custom games? It’s ridiculous. This is sort of a rant, but listen to this. Forge was what allowed me to make my maps and create communities of custom games with friends and starngers, but now that it is online I always have to worry that my Internet might go off and I will loose what I didn’t save. Which is what happened to me. I made sure I was saving every so minutes, then my Internet went out. I returned and my hours of progress were gone. This made me mad. It made me wonder why 343 made this online. I enjoyed going offline and making my maps, now it’s necessary for me to have online to be able to access the stuff that gives me nostalgia about this game and makes me enjoy it. I remember when halo was accessible and fun without online. Doesn’t anyone feel the same? I hope forge gets made into something available offline sometime soon.
