[Forgive me if this is something that the developers have already acknowledged—I don’t actively keep up with 343’s updates, outside of what’s shown in Infinite’s in-game MotD.]
What happened to 343 giving their games crazy service records full of info? I swear, it feels like the old Halo 5 stat pages would tell you how many footsteps a player takes. It’s odd that MCC and H5 have these stupidly detailed SRs, and then Infinite comes along and just gives us nothing. I personally really like being able to see how I’ve been doing in the game. It puts things into perspective, if that makes sense. Now all I get to see on here is my battle pass progression. Why suck the life out of stat tracking? It can also be fun comparing with friends, and I hate having to use a third-party site just to get even the basics. I really hope 343 considers revamping how much info is shown here on Waypoint.
They did it to cater to the super casuals. So they don’t feel left out of matchmaking in ranked due to stats, or bad about their stats. It’s the same with every playlist being ARs… aside from ranked being BR start.
Same goes for the chat system, people need their safe space.
343 can’t balance their fanbase. Just add in BR casual start playlist, so people can enjoy it there too. Add open chat. and add stats back, with the option to “hide” or diable them for the people super salty about performance. Though it’s kinda funny you can just go to halotracker and pull stats.
There is an agenda to emasculate the human populate and make us all docile little servants…it is being implemented everywhere by major corporations and governments.
Weaken the competitive spirit of the people so they resist less ultimately to power.
It is a long game and gaming is major media now so much go throw the same brain tainting agenda.
I believe all those stats weren’t there on day 1 for Halo 5. I remember stats being similarly kind of barren back around launch. They’ll probably update the tracking in the future at some point. As for right now, HaloTracker gives the most detailed stats.

The dude kinda has a point. The world went from being productive, self responsibility, and having the right to do as you please as it didn’t hinder others.
Now it’s becoming tooooo sensitive, entitled, docile and you will get canceled.

most new mulitplayer games have no all chat or open voice chat or open or persistent lobbies now
most of them are cutting out stats
most of them are getting sanitized

Considering the people who founded Valve are on record pretty much outright saying that they wanted to control peoples minds through the flow of media and are now owners of the largest gaming browser on PC, i think its safe to say that nobody is spinning their tinfoil hat. And the rampant backlash that initially comes internally to any fans of Steam who are reading this is proof enough of that. Do your own research. Steam is a corporate manipulator that has a near-monopoly on PC sales. If you own a PC, you are in their back pocket.
why? video games are the largest entertainment medium that exists. you also need to factor in that we are living under late stage capitalism and corporatism. you need to zoom out.
