1 Flap Maps?
Like High Ground, or Zanzibar? Thats what halos multiplayer was based on. Replaying a scenario thousand of times with different reactions and NEVER getting bored. WEll… at least thats what the developers said in the Halo 2 vidoc. And in the halo 3 vidoc, they said they wanted maps you could play for the 100th, 1000th, time and Still be fun.
WHY NOT put all the objective gametypes like ODDBALL, KOTH into one playlist and call is SKIRMISH or OBJECTIVE :/. That way when we pick BTB… we’ll have more to pic besides just a map. We’ll have to pick a gametype WITH the map. Like 2 flag BTB or 1 flag.
I think the devs lost what made halo so great… and thought its just running around shooting :/. If I wanna do that then i’ll play quake 3 because its a lot more fun.
I miss 1 ctf Camo assassions was fun on D
Everyone seems to want to rather go the super competitive route, which means more symmetric maps where everything is even and equal.
I always found the one-sided/assymetric maps to be more interesting and memorable personally, both in layout and the game experiences.

You must not remember the competitive nature of 1 flag/1 bomb zanzibar/headlong/relic…

Never said they couldn’t be competitive, but I’ve always just seen people seeming to prefer simple where both teams were on even ground.
All the more reason to make some more maps or bring them back either way.
