What happened in the last few days?

I have noticed an increased amount of lag over the last few days. And before anyone says it’s my ISP - I actually called them and they have mentioned that some other players in my area have also called them to complain. They have assured me it isn’t them. Other games like Star Wars Battlefront - no lag. Today - the game is almost unplayable. One or two opposite team members will appear out of no where and get kills on the entire team. WTF???
Edit: When I say appear out of no where - they appear directly in front of me - when they were not anywhere near where I was.

they are opening channels worldwide to test servers, latency and increase population count because they are losing players in Australia and Brazil

honestly i think the overall population dropped significantly after a month without social playlists and they are trying to remedy it by matching people up worldwide

…and Europe

the moment US players start to log on in higher numbers, that awkward moment when you shoot rockets at your opponents feet just to see them take no damage and proceed to kill you in what seems like a one quick burst form AR,…that is when an EU player shuts the game down and calls it a day

Yeah, the last few days have been lag city. You didn’t put lag in the post title but I knew what this post was about lol.

US player, I’ve noticed a lot more latency issues in the last week or so. Teleporting players is the obvious symptom but other tell-tale signs are when you get taken down by a carbine as if it was a sniper headshot. It’s a shame, dedicated servers are supposed to be the solution to most latency issues but if the population is declining I wonder if we are always getting connected to the ideal, lowest ping server?

I’m from Guam and for the last two days It takes hours to find one game. WHat is going on here?
