I cant find any games in WZ anymore? My friends neither…
Anyone knows what happend?
I’m not able to find games quickly either. Solo queue and searching with teams both take a very long time. My thoughts are that they are trying to match players similar to arena. There’s an MMR for Warzone which I’m sure they are using to try to match players.
What im unsure of is whether the population is healthy enough to support this.
If anyone of 343 reads this, I suggest you guys better rewind this, because WZ will die within a week!
It’s probably server problems. It sometimes happens to me, I switch playlists for a bit and go back to it later then it seems to work again usually.

There are way to many playlists, population is now spread to thin…
Destiny 2 is probably to blame for the sudden drop in players. I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the case.
No its not, ive asked around and they changed the MMR system in WZ. So people who are good in WZ will only match other good players, but the population is too low for that change…

Perhaps, but Destiny 2 has sold 58% LESS than Destiny 1 in it’s first week.
I think players have been leaving for other games in general, not just Destiny 2. Also changes made by 343i are a possible reason.
For me, the only time I can’t find wz matches is before 12pm est. The afternoon and night work fine for me.

Way to jump to conclusions, I was finding games instantly last night.
BTB is taking longer to find games as well.

It’s easy to find warzone games if you have a low enough MMR in Warzone. I tried on my secondary account and found a game instantly. On my main account it was taking 5minutes+.
I have a preference for Warzone Assault and it is a virtual ghost town - search ends frequently in last couple of days with the Unable to Match Low Population message. Went to normal Warzone and was JIP’d in to a game where the opposing team held all 3 bases 
Went to Super Fiesta instead

What I’m saying is, what’s with all of the major game changes so late in the build? Is H5 just a massive beta for H6? And with some of these latest tweaks to WZ I really hope you see that the only thing that is going to change is the die hard community, how long do you expect us to keep clinging to hope that it will get back to the roots that made HALO amazing.

I think only the top players in WZ have an issues with this, when I solo q, its almost impossible to find games. Only in certain time frames. 6pm-9pm GMT+1. Thats not how its supposed to be. If they made a MMR restriction, then the restriction should be removed when someones searches for +3 minutes (for example)
Can someone of 343 confirm this? That this change has been made.
They made a fairly significant change to WZ matchmaking without an official announcement. Here is Josh Menke’s tweets with Precellence.
They basically made it so only players relatively close to your own MMR can be put in the same game as you, similar to arena. At the top levels of skill, you are only able to match up with 16% of the total WZ population. This has resulted in some very high quality matches, but has also caused the playlist to be dead (unable to match with team or solo) around 11:30pm PST. I watched Precellence on his stream search for 25 minutes before having to give up last night. I then tried to match solo, and was unable to match after a further 20 minutes of searching.
343 if you are listening, please implement a way for the system to “give up” trying to make a close match after a certain time period (I personally would be fine waiting 10 minutes for a high quality match, but most people would probably only wait 3-5 minutes) . Or if that is not possible, please roll back the changes. Having lower quality matches is better than no matches at all. The way it is now will just cause more people to leave the playlist and make the problem even worse.
This would have been great…nearly 2 years ago when H5 launched with an abundance of people playing. However, with the population dwindling, and even with a slight tweak to the MMR range, I’m still sitting here searching for the last 10 minutes. Assault is practically impossible. Does 343 want to kill the warzone population? Because that’s what’s happening. Guess it’s time to make some smurfs if I want to play. Then we can hear the lower level players complain about all the second accounts ruining the game.
