What happen to human blood in Halo 5?

So I’ve been wondering, why take Human/Spartan blood out of Halo 5? I know the rating of the game has changed from Mature to Teen, but still I think that it wouldn’t hurt to have human blood in the game and besides I think who ever is old enough to play Halo should be old enough to see blood in the game. Yes, some may ask why did you even bring up this topic in the first place, it doesn’t even matter. Well I just wanted to bring it up because I kind of miss the little things in Halo, I know blood isn’t that big of a deal, but it actually helps me a bit to know were enemies are and it lets me know to be aware of my surroundings. It also brings out the realism in Halo 5, it shows that a war is going on and what is a war without blood. Yeah, the dead bodies can also help with all of that, but they kind of disappear after a little bit. In Halo CE the blood was everywhere and it kind of put some intense moments in the game, like for an example the 343 Guilty Spark mission where the Flood made their debut. The blood in that mission let you know that something went down before you got there and you’re about to learn of the new treat that has risen. Anyways the point I’m trying to make is that that human blood is kind of nice to have around sometimes and people like me who look at the little things in video games tend to enjoy the game more when they notice them.

I hope they bring it back too

There is an assassination called Terminal Velocity, has a pretty noticeable amount of gore.

i miss it :frowning:

Yeah so far the sword and terminal velocity are the only animations to have blood. I wonder why they decided to add a new assassination with blood while the others don’t have any.

If those animations have blood in them, then there should be nothing wrong with a little blood on the ground or walls. They could even make it an option to turn blood and gore on or off.

Would’ve been nice for it to keep the M rating. Preferred the more violent style

They removed blood to keep it rated T for Teen, my guess is in hopes to grab a younger, new audience to keep the franchise alive. Unless your job is to play halo, the older you get the less likely you are to spend time with it, meaning the less money you are willing to spend on it. As a business move it makes sense, I just don’t think they realize they were all playing the original Halo before they were 17.

Keep it, remove it; I’m fine with whatever.

I too miss the blood.

No blood game gets T rating so i’ll guess all the rest of the halo games yet to come will have no blood as well
