What Halo swag did you get before street date

Just discussion of getting lucky and buying legitimate copies of Halo stuff early.

NO discussions of piracy. NO discussion of Halo 4 spoilers.

Me? I have always been a nutcase for Halo’s music, and was beside myself when I saw that my local Walmart had put out the Halo 3 soundtrack two days early. The 'Do Not Sell Until 11/09/07 sticker was on the top of the jewel case, but the cashier either didn’t notice or care. Got it on November 7th.

What about you guys? Anyone get lucky with a soundtrack, or, even luckier, a game?

Although on Bungie.net it said that I played Reach one day early, even though I picked it up at the midnight release… lol

Microsoft servers are on the west coast, so if you got it on the east coast, it’d still be Monday night there.

Halo: The Art of Building Worlds LE was sent to me about a month earlier than the release date. Not really sure why.
I remember it too haha, I posted on here what everyone thoughts about it were and everyone was just kinda like Huh? its not out yet?

I picked up a Halo 4 window sticker from the Microsoft employee when preordering the LE edition first day. Apparently he hadn’t heard that it was announced yet and thanked me for giving him the information.

I got the Halo 3 Limited edition box (not game) before release having some friends work at GameStop at the time.

I think thats about it.

I got the Halo 4 soundtrack like…5 days ago, I think the only Halo game I got early was Halo Anniversary when I had it a few days before release.
