What Halo NEEDS to be successful

Alright, everybody, we ALL know Halo is fading away from the mainstream, so 343 needs to DO something to keep it relevant. Here are a few things that are GUARANTEED to put a future Halo game on the current top 5 Xbox games.

1- Frickin’ BATTLE ROYALE MODE

We all know Battle Royale is very popular today, so Halo needs to jump on the bandwagon by doing the exact same thing, the HALO way. Basically build off the success of PUBG and Fortnite. Make the game more cartoony. Have players jump out of pelicans in the beginning, then search the map for ammo and health kits while they attempt to murder each other. Winner gets a moa dinner. In order to stand a chance against these competitors, Halo will have to stop being a console exclusive. Hastily port it to PC, and more importantly, MOBILE DEVICES. Nobody cares if it’s done yet, people will buy it anyway. We have to appeal to every 10-year-old gamer possible, since that’s where all the real money comes from.

2- Class-Based Multiplayer

While it would be preferable for Halo to be strictly Battle-Royale, we need to appeal to other players, too, the small minority that DOESN’T like Battle Royale. They will be given chaotic class-based carnage! How this can be done is simple: basically build off the success of TF2 and, more importantly, OVERWATCH. Start off with about 20 characters, each with unique Halo abilities and space magic, which branches off to the additional attraction of DESTINY players. Be sure to add a new character every few months, to keep people playing for years to come. Also give every character several skins that can be exclusively unlocked in LOOTBOXES, which can only be acquired by leveling up or spending your hard-earned CASH! Everyone loves that! Even IF they don’t like it, they’ll be too busy whining about the unbalanced new character to notice!

3- What About the Campaign?

Let’s be real: campaigns are overrated. NOBODY plays the campaigns, the gaming industry should be entirely dedicated to perfecting their multiplayer scene. Companies like Bethesda are doomed if they keep making these, ugh, singleplayer-only games. The multiplayer is where it’s at. 343 should cancel their dumb Reclaimer Saga and follow every point I made above and below this one. If you really want to join the mainstream, multiplayer-only games are the way to go. TRUST ME

4- A Few Other Things

In order to appeal to the widest possible audience, a few more changes have to be made. All buildings MUST be destructible, to appeal to Rainbow Six Siege players. Time-to-kill must be GREATLY reduced, and killstreaks MUST be added, to appeal to CoD’s, and similar shooter’s, fanbases. Make Forge much simpler, and add a survival mode, day/night cycle, and zombies to it, to appeal to Minecraft players. And most important of all, give the game an M rating. All children feel much more edgy and cool when they play M-rated games, giving them a greater notion to buy it. There’s a reason why H5’s sales were so poor, and that’s because the game was rated T. It doesn’t need to deserve an M-rating, just slap it on there and watch your sales go through the roof.

All these changes are guaranteed to help Halo to keep up with current audiences’ interests. Be sure to thank me in advance, I just single-handedly saved the franchise. You’re welcome.
