I think halo 7 because they kind of set it up for a halo 6 so they will end masterchiefs story after in halo 7
For Chief’s story i’m thinking 7. As for Halo as a whole, not even close to 7. I will be interested in where we go from here. Especially with Locke as a character considering Mike Colter is off doing stuff with Marvel now.
If Locke is the main character they might as well quit. Give me the arbiter or some other hard yoink Spartan II.Id play as a moron marine that guards the west armory before id take Locke.
Locke isn’t bad I actually liked him BUT they need to bring out his character more.
They are going to milk it for its complete worth.

After the dust settles from “launch day excitement” and this being the first new Halo title on the Xbox One. I believe Halo 5’s community will begin to exponentially dwindle, Microsoft will take notice and end up pulling the plug on 343 industries
I’d say 5/6 since they want to get away from numbers.
They did an interview where they said they wanted to get away from numbers, as it would be ridiculous to think of a Halo with a large number attached. That is why 5 has the subtitle Guardians
I’m pretty sure they said that 5 was the last numbered game, hense why they added the subtitle Guardians. After this they will go with purerly subtitled games.
7 it’s not trilogy so 7, but after that they make spin off and some Locke games which have numbers.
Chiefs story would be 6 something, Halo in general will keep going after wards though.

Roughly at 6 for the chief’s story arc. As for halo as a whole I think the game could continue potentially go as far as double digits, even though they are doing away with numbers.

Probably 6 for the Chief’s storyline, but I see it more symbolic than that. Bungie’s trilogy had 3 games, 343’s could possibly have 3.
