What Halo Game Has The Best Graphics/Art Design?

What Halo game do you think has the best art design or graphics. Why? What about it do you like? Do some items look better in one game than another? What would you like to see in future Halo games?

Halo Wars 2 by far has the best art style and graphics in cutscenes. Hoping that Halo: Infinite will be a lot like it.

I personally love H2A the most with Halo Wars 2 coming second. They both do art style and graphics really well and everything just works visually.

Save for a few like the Scorpion, Halo 5 did vehicle art style very well.

What about you, OP?

I feel that Reach had the best art design to it, the setting was always grim and foreboding, along with the music, and bleak visuals it all tied in to be a beautiful work of art with an atmosphere that made you feel Noble Teams feelings (hope, too loss of hope).

Halo Wars 2 because mechs are great (usually).

Reach has the best art direction. It combines the grittiness and ‘realness’ of the UNSC with the bright colors of the Covenant perfectly. All the other Bungie games were evolving towards that point, and the 343i games everything looks like it’s being made by a Chinese knockoff company that couldn’t afford the real design plans so they just made a poor man’s copy.

Plus Power Ranger Spartans? No. Absolutely not.

I agree with your comment 100%. I like the Halo Reach graphics for the same reason. They look real. For example items and weapons look used. Halo 4 and 5 are more like cartoon graphics.

I like the Halo 2 graphics also. It seems that Halo: Infinite is going more in the direction of the Halo 2 graphics and the older Halo games. I like the Halo Reach graphics the most because they feel more real than the graphics of Halo 4 and 5. In Halo: Infinite I would like to see something more like the graphics of Halo reach and Halo 2, 3, & ODST. Why do you like the Halo 2 art style?

I think that Halo Reach did the best job making the graphics seem real rather than of some strange universe that does not seem possible. They make the game seem real. For example items are worn, dirty, and used looking. The weapons look similar to those in real life. The weapons looked more like metal that something of plastic. Gun shots sounded real even at a distance. They don’t have impossible digital recitals. The Halo Reach graphics does almost everything right. In the future I would like to see Halo games with graphics similar to Halo Reach, and Halo 2.

In terms of graphics, H5 is obviously the best which it should be considering it’s the latest entry.

Art direction though I think H3 or Reach is the best, those games will stand the test of time for a long time.

Yeah that’s true. Reach did a great job (arguably the best of any Halo game) creating a believable and relevant atmosphere.

Halo reach no competition.

Halo: CE has the best art design in my opinion. I love the feeling of being on an unknown mysterious alien world.

For me it’s between Halo:CE and Halo 2

Halo Reach was the best hands down

But if you ask me Halo CE beats all the others

HALO 2 Anniversary.
Sgt.Johnson look blam good.
