What halo armor do you want in halo 5? I would personally like E.O.D(Halo 3-Halo 4) and Oceanic(Halo 4).

I was a recon user during Halo 3, ODST (Dare), and Reach. Halo 4 and 5 I still like recon but I find myself drawn to the warrior armor set. I wish I had a complete set of either one.
Forge play is going to kill you for not including CQB on this list. I want H3 Rogue, Original Mark V, Original ODST, Hayabusa (if 343 aren’t suid) and H3 Recon.

I want the EOD armor exactly as it was in Halo 4, with the exact same skin, preferably with Mark VI gauntlets and LG-50 Bulk legs, unless they can add full armor customization.
I also really want the Mark V armor from Halo: CE Anniversary. Mark V Alpha just doesn’t cut it.

You can unlock Nightfall through Gold Packs. Yes, you’ll have to grind a bit, but you don’t have to buy the series to unlock the set.

Yes, but I guess that in order to unlock it through Gold Packs, and not expend so much time, I have to buy first all the bronze and silver packs to get the common, not common, rare, etc equipment?

Nightfall is a Legendary (Mythic) set. You’ll have to spend some time grinding those packs.
