Halo 4 and Halo 5 died off somewhat quickly. Halo still has some life left but Halo 6 is their last shot at making Halo THE Xbox exclusive once more. I’ve seen a lot of people say “YOU JUST NEED TO REMOVE EVERYTHING AND MAKE HALO 2.5!” But that is not the case, there are many features that could make Halo 6 a go-to title. All it needs to have is something addicting, hell, look at Destiny! The game is absolutely horrible, even quite a bit of the Destiny community hate the game but it’s just addicting. All Halo 6 needs to do is be addictive and good at the same time. Here is what Halo 6 should do
Contain an epic, challenging legendary campaign with epic rewards: Halo 5 was not exactly the hardest Halo legendary, and an achievement is NOT a reward. What Halo 6 needs is a legendary as hard as Halo 2’s, and an epic reward to show off to everyone on the battlefield. You should get a skin, visor, an armour set and an emblem.
More maps, no remixes: There needs to be a lot of new maps that are not just remixes or forge maps.This is both needed for Arena and Warzone
3, Change the REQ System: I know a lot of people don’t like CoD here but the Cryptokey system was brilliant. There should be 3 rarities in the REQ system like always but instead of armour, you should only get weapons for Warzone, skins ect. and you should pay with in-game currency and not Microtransactions
Emblems should have pre-made options and a customizable option like 2-Reach. If you want a Blue Team emblem you should be able to equip one but if you want to make you’re own you you should be able to.
Innovating the armour customization: Halo: Reach had the best armour customization in the series which Halo 4 and 5 messed up. What they need is unlocking armours with levels and being able to equip gear (Ammo Pouches, Knives ect) and skins to the armour. You should be able to put at least 3 different things on your armour and your helmet making your spartan truly unique. They should also include HUD customization.
Reach levelling system: Speaking of the levelling system, the Reach levelling system was amazing as getting the next rank was not only a challenge but just plain satisfying. The SR System NEEDS to be replaced with the Reach system.
Forge the way you like: There should be a basic mode (3-H2A) and a mode more like the Halo 5 one
That is what I think needs to happen with Halo 6 for it to regain Halo’s popularity.

And it got off quick. This is exactly why we don’t have as many playlists as in Reach or 3. Not enough people. And why else would they not show the population like in past games?
I find myself playing this game a lot more than previous Halo’s. Just cause you don’t play it as much doesn’t mean its not relevant.
Stop telling game developers that have been doing this for years how to do their jobs lol

Bungie isn’t the same anymore. I think they’d just make the franchise worse, I mean, look at the fiasco that is Destiny.

Bungie is stuck with Activision at the moment and after Destiny, I dont want them back

doesn’t seem likely. even if bungie came back to the series I’d be afraid of a Destiny type game.

I dont want to be that guy, but I’m afraid that is what needs to be done. Halo 2 and 3 were so unique, and thats what made them so good, and last a very long time. 343 have made Halo so similar to every other shooter, therefore massively reducing its lifespan, as people will just move on to the next one when it when they come out.

Just add pelicans and phantoms into forge and you have got a good Halo.

Absolutely not. Reach’s ranking system was horrible; you ranked up based on how much you played, not how good you were. The 1–50 skill-based ranking system is better, though I also like Halo 5’s system.
Halo 6 needs to have all the content of the previous games and more. Being back every weapon in its classic form and new form, bring back every vehicle, have all the past halo matchmaking playlists available at launch (no more drip feeding monthly updates with essential content, updates are still great, but should just be extra cool stuff and bug fixes). The more there is to do, the longer you will play the game.
