Made another topic on this earlier, however, I wanted to go further in depth with the points I made. I’ve honestly given up on Halo 5 (opinion) and have lost faith in 343i. And while I may not be pre-ordering the next game, I’ll still be getting it after day 1 due to the fact that Halo introduced me to the FPS genre. But until 343 shows me that their product (opinion) is WORTH the price shown, I will not be buying their games before release date. Finally, for anyone who says “You haven’t given up on Halo 5, you play it every day! It’s in your history”, you’re right, I do play it every day. Only reason being to create one last REQ pack opening video once I hit 1million points. After that, I’m done with multiplayer and will only be speedrunning the campaign as to try and be part of AGDQ.

***NOTE THIS IS ALL OPINION***
Lets get started (This may take a few posts):
Pre-order Bonuses (since there are people who are hard-core Halo collectors)
- ANY DLC bonuses should be EXCLUSIVE to the editions (Halo Reaches recon, blue flames, elite armor). These should not be allowed to be earned in game. Otherwise, the incentive to get something unique is gone.
- Statues should be PRE-BUILT in packaging. The Guardian model, as cool as it looks, still sits in my closet, waiting to be built (it’s a pain in the butt).
- Offer more physical unique items. Halo Reach ( I believe) had twice the amount as Halo 5’s Legendary edition, and it still costed less to get
- Those who pre-order the game should get a FREE download code of the game (optional, can be debated).
- Bonus skull(?)
Campaign Mode:
- Bring back “timer” feature
- Bring back “Score” feature
- Bring back “Restart mission” feature
- Bring back “Save Checkpoint” feature (useful for speedrunners when practicing tricks)
- Add in sword flying skull (sword flying is fun, why not)
- Campaign should be at LEAST 10 missions long (average Halo length?)
- There should be no levels where you simply walk around for 2min, make that an Easter Egg
- MAKE Master Chief playable for MORE than 3 missions. He should be playable through the entire campaign, or, through at least HALF
- You’ve said that Halo 5 was the darkest Halo to date, that was a lie. If you say that Halo 6 is dark, then it NEEDS death like in Halo 3. Gives more of an impact in the story
- DO NOT toss away characters just for the sake of the story. DO NOT turn characters in mere plot device (Arbitor). Nothing kills a story more than a characters wasted potential and just saying “Because reasons”
- PLEASE bring back Blue Team and Fire Team Osiris. They do not have to be crucial, but I would like to know what happened to them since they seemed discarded at the end.
- If there is to be a major conflict between Chief and Cortana, I want to feel utterly shocked if something bad happens to/between them. I want to feel gutted in my Halo heart and cry like a little baby. (Basically, give us more impactful scenes)
