Yeah, I’m not a fan of favyn but I think he has some merit on some points, and he’s a lot better than xGLLx.

Favyn seems very, very passionate about what he speaks. Unfortunately, he only uses statistics and facts to back up his own claims, rather than presenting the full side of the story.

I see very very very few people who ACTUALLY accept and love every single decision of theirs without question. Even in Bungie days there was at least someone who had some sort of nitpick or immense dislike.

Look it would be great and all if he approached everything objectively. But he’s reached a point where he is BDobbinsFTW clamoring for views, so anything he can put up/say for views, he will. All the stats and facts he uses are twisted to suit his own views, and then only when he uses facts. 9/10 times he is using his own subjective opinion as a fact, and that is completely BDobbins.

For the amount of time I spend commenting on here, I could probably make channel aimed at all these fans too. They’d just be counter arguments.
But then Id have to go really click baity and make videos on why “Its A Good Thing BTB is Delayed” “Its Good To Include Outisde Lore in Campaign” Blah blah blah.
2000 subs but even Halo 4 sold 9 million copies. That .022% can do as they please.
Personally, I think Halo 5 does everything right in multiplayer.

I gave him a chance, but the fact that the moment he puts the brakes on when he gets a following is just a sigh he did it for subs. I can only hope he can heal his reputation because it he doesn’t exactly have the best reputation.

If you actually watched the video and listened to what he said (funny how I’m asking you to now) he clearly states that his subscribers are the ones who wanted him to do something more positive.

That is completely everyone. Welcome to the internet, where there will always be subjectivity. Also, these videos are his opinion, so yeah, it’s going to be subjective and he warns you ahead of time that it is.
It’s clear you don’t agree with him, which is fine. But if his opinion offends you, you really ought to grow a pair and just deal with it instead of immaturely throwing insults at him. Or better yet, why not throw some valid counter arguments his way instead of calling him a greedy Youtuber in it for the views? What he does is far more focused on Halo than BDobbins, who talks about COD, BF, Halo, Destiny, and other big games. He even stated in his video that he didn’t expect his channel to take off, so clearly a lot of people agree with what he has to say or at least enjoy listening to him, even if you don’t.
My response to shatinator, copied from reddit where he was also accusing me of “damage control”
It’s sad, you don’t realize how silly you look to the people who actually watch.
You see, you’re the exact type of person who I don’t want to watch. You are narrow minded, and so antagonistic that you’re not worth having a discussion with.
But I’ll humor you just this one time.
I know you didn’t watch. Because you say I’m just trying to do damage control. That’s the opposite of what I’m doing really. You see I wrote this commentary a month ago, something I mention first thing in this video. However, at the time I was being called strictly negative, and had nothing good to say. So rather than put this commentary out and have people assume I’d gone soft and caved in to the people who didn’t like me, I continued to criticize the game and built a decent following in a short amount of time.
Now that I have almost 2000 subs, and many of them asking if I liked anything in the game, I brought this commentary back and finished it.
This is the opposite of damage control. I know you don’t realize this, because you just assume I’m a hater and don’t watch, but I push for open mindedness with my subs. I want them to stand up and be passionate for what they believe, but I also want them to be respectful to others and their opinions as well.
So far they’ve all agreed, but I wanted to see what would happen if I made a positive video. And talked about the good things in the game. Would they still have an open mind? Or would they prove to be no better than people such as yourself, so lost in their ways that they are incapable of reason.
This wasn’t damage control. Because if the people who follow my channel were really just a bunch of blind fanboy haters, then this video would have destroyed me, and I would have lost them. Buy they’re not haters. They understand, they get it. Now the only one here who’s truly a hater of anything…is you.
You say the fact I pumped the breaks shows I only did it for the views, then by that logic every single person who had subscribed to me would have hated this video. How could making a video that my entire subscriber base would hate help control damage? If anything it would cause more damage.
Everything you are saying completely contradicts itself.
Are you saying that because I made videos talking about negative aspects of the game, I am locked in to that specific kind of content? And then the moment I say something good all of the sudden I’m a faker and only did my last 10-15 videos to get subs?
