I think halo 5 could use some epic In-game rock and other cool music like halo 2 had when you were going into battle or some, halo 2 really had that mixture and atmosphere that made it cool but mysterious with the music. (was also cool when they had that “Blow me away” song) i feel as though halo 3 was alright with it… But only towards the end is when they started adding in the halo theme.
I kinda wish they brought back the original halo theme but with bungie out of the picture I’m not sure what 343 can or can’t do.
Hmm, Halo 2…what great campaign it had! I did like the use of rock in there,too! (Even though I’m not a big rock fan…) I’m totally with you, but it should belong in the campaign not in MM. I’ll think 343i did a good job with the Soundtrack! They did their own stuff but it was similiar to Martin’s Score.
I disagree, the Halo theme was prevalent in Halo 3 since the beginning. In fact, it was to the point that it got too repetitive because they ran out of ideas on what new tunes to use. That said, Halo 2 had very good soundtracks, Halo 3 did some of them better. If there’s anything that i dislikes about Halo 2’s music its the rock. Didn’t think ity suited Halo. Halo 4 provided something completely new, however, the Halo theme should return IMO, along with other old tracks MIXED WITH NEW!
