What Halo 5 can learn

What halo 5 can learn from FPSs currently on the market for xbox one.

Titanfall - customisation is pointless in this game as it is too limited. I think 343 have accepted this with the outcome of halo 4 announcing halo 5 to have equal starts. Titanfall’s campaign feels lazy. The idea of having PvP for campaign in itself is not necessarily a bad idea, but it didn’t feel like it differentiated much from regular multiplayer. I think if 343 are going to have some sort of extension to the campaign (ie firefight, spops or some kind of hybrid), then they need to keep the story immersive and interactive.

BF4 - Battlefield’s biggest let-down was the technical side of it. The bugs, the issues and still (which was a problem with bf3 on xbox 360), the texture mapping. 343 will only have one chance left, the game needs to be ready when released.

Destiny beta - probably the best overall experience I’ve had on the Xbox one. The game seemed flawless, and it looked beautiful. Not necessarily the best gameplay on the xb1 since we only got a few days for the beta but I will reserve my judgement for release. What I liked about the beta itself which I think 343 should do, is give the preorder people 3 codes, one for themselves and two for friends. This was a genius idea.

Watchdogs - (I know its not an FPS but this list ran short on me). What disappointed me in this game was the cutscenes. Seriously the cutscenes for halo 4 remain the best I have EVER seen. I have no doubt that 343 will keep their standard up with theirs. Constructive criticism: I liked the story, I liked water and light effects - it really made it look next-gen. I think there was a lack of spontaneity when it comes to the AI and the environment, you have to rely on the online or challenges to keep it fresh. What 343 could learn: again in campaign or the extended campaign, AI need to be a little bit more unpredictable, objectives have to be mixed up a bit (ie on firefight/spops, not being wave after waves of enemies to kill but other objectives the capturing/protect).

-Halo 4: Had AAs. Just drop the idea.
-Halo 4: Ordnance drops. Literally DROP the idea.
-Halo 4: No true skill ranking system. Please implement.
-Halo 4: Grenade indicators. Get rid of.
