I’ve been reading around and notice many good point many of you posters have…
so here is a list I am creating in reguards to what Halo 4 should have that previous games did or should have had
--------That uniqueness it holds away from games like COD…this is Halo NOT anything else!
-Strong shields (with or without helath?)
-Large variety of different weapons and vehicles
-amazing strength, very fast speed, high jumps
-equipment (like in Halo 3)
-HUD with same zoom
-multitude of grenades with farther throwing distance
-NO recoil
-Dual welding
-Emotion in a great campaign
-Visor or auto adjusting screen to darkness?
-Armor abilities that are preset…meaning always have it (a jet pack, evade ability, ect.) or never have it
-Same button layout as in Halo 3 or the Recon Layout in Reach (or at leat a choice for it)
-4 player co-op…(over live, system link, AND split screen play) -just so I can if I want to-
-quick reloads
-no death boundries on maps…if I can get on a bulding, let me stay there!!!
-Halo CE active camo…completely invisible! (use as equipent)
-bigger difference in level difficulty…make easy EASY and have Legendary make you wanna cry! (Halo 1 was great!)
—when something works in a game do not remove it…add onto it…like with weapons and vehicles…improve them dont replace them…ADD DONT CHANGE
—these are the basics with the game…most concern the campaign…
—please comment and add your own things that you LOVED about Halo and what works…what you want to see again!
no sniper vehical rapage
no armor abilitie at all!
no stupid health system from halo odst/reach
bring back 1-50
i want to run fast and jump high
no bloom
social and ranked playlists
no multiplayer forge world maps
Health doesnt really make much difference in the gameplay…so I kind of agree that it should be removed and stay like Halo 3
I only say armor abilities should be all or nothing because I think that if master chief had a jet pack it would be pretty sweet…but armor lock, sprint, evade…should be removed or somehow placed into some form of equipment…like in Halo 3
I agree with the sniper problem…we should have to pluck out the driver by hitting him and not the vehicle
1 big thing I’ve always wondered is why the spartans aren’t faster and a lot stronger than marines like they are in the books
I believe if 343 integrates Gears of War 3’s beast mode system into Halo 4’s firefight It would be played a whole lot more. You can be many different covenant species and upgrade to stronger species like Zealot elites and Brutes as you get more points for killing and assists. But those high class ranks only stay for a certain amount of time or if you die with them a certain number of times. There should be maps dedicated to this firefight like Halo ODST and Reach had.

An AI army would be pretty sweet but I’d also like to have the idea of desperatness in it like in ODST.
An Elephant is also a must have for some map in Halo 4. Maybe even a Pelican as it is one of the most desired vehicles ever.
I would additionally want nice and varied Multiplayer maps. In Reach, there was mostly Huge (FW) Big (Spire/Boneyard) and Small (Reflection, Countdown and Powerhouse)
Some nice medium sized Maps would be good. Defiant and Noble brought some like Highlands and Tempest.
looking at Halo Reach’s FireFight customizations I can see how they could implant and army or make you alone… the possibilities are limitless!!! and seeing as how the vehicles and weapons very well might all be different an elephant might not exist in the game…but a equivallant would be sweet! and they I’m sure they wont dissappoint with the maps
I want new enemies and different weapons to make the sandbox feel different. Reach had great long range weapons but it would be interesting to try to focus on some shorter range ones and build the sandbox around that maybe?
Also I want to keep armor abilities and add more of them.
I believe a whole new set of vehicles, and weapons will exist in the new games…Its a new story, and new place…but a large number of all short medium and long range weapons is a must!
My Ideas.
-AI Battles that you can drive a Pelican in (Like the AI Mods in Halo CE)
-Armor Lock quicker recharge.
-Lower ammo for the Sniper in MP because of Sniping noobs.
-A better Theater Mode.
-That forge has lots of more customizable stuff (Such as Weather,Time of Day,Background,Grass,ETC.)
-Add Dual Weiding
-Bring back some Classic Weapons!(Mauler,Carbine,SMG,Dual Weild Needlers.)
-More Vechiles (I’m a little tired of not having Pelicans or Phantoms not drivable!And a Troop Hog would be nice!)
i think u should have the option to have preset armor abilities(like a jet pack,sprint,evade,and active camo and can have a combination of any two abilities listed and control them with the left and right bumpers) or choose to not have them at all(during the campaign)MP should have seperate playlists all together ones with and ones without armor abilities(the ones with u should be able to make ur own loadouts)
