I just wanted to see who has ordered what, and how much interest there are in these products, so just make a list of what you plan to get and or have pre-ordered.
I have currently pre-ordered
The LCE
The standard H5G
I plan to buy
The console edition
The new xbox one controller
Whatever other goodies they have.
I just honestly want to see what people have pre-ordered and what they want to buy to gauge interests.
I’ve pre-ordered LCE but I’m sad that there isn’t a physical copy of the disc. They said they were planning on dealing with that, so, I guess we’ll see what they do.
I also plan to buy whatever “goodies” they have

I bought Halo 3 Limited Edition on release even though I didn’t have an xbox 360, lol. Granted, I got one 3 weeks later…

I’m going for the digital deluxe version, because I am in the minority of people that dislike discs. Ever since getting back into PC gaming with steam digital is so much nicer for me.
Also don’t have to worry about my disc breaking like my copy of Halo 3 that cracked inside of its limited edition tin due to the pressure of the part that holds it in place.
Perhaps the BoomCo Blasters.
Preordered limited edition. Would rather have the cool limited edition disc and $150 than a statue I literally don’t have room for.

You do realise 343 don’t get paid from the money made from game sales. They get paid a salary. Money made from the game will go to microsoft and will be used to fund the next Halo project. Don’t see why you would have a problem supporting Halo. If you buy the game pre owned you clearly have some interest in the game.
The $90 digital edition of the game.
McFarlane figures: Kelly, Linda, Fred, Locke (to start out). I don’t think I need the new Halo 5 Chief since I have both the standard Halo 4 Chief and the cracked visor one. They’re not different enough to really justify having three in what is essentially the same armor set.
That’s probably it at first.
The only pre-order I’m slightly interested in, is the silenced DMR. Other than that, the standard edition is fine, but the LE might be something as well.

I really like the scoped AR. Unfortunately where I live it’s a choice between Locke Armor at EBGames or a Spartan action figure from Mighty Ape, neither of which appeal to me. I may even give away my Locke Armor code.
The reason I plan to buy both editions of the game is I am buying a copy for my brother, and a console for me and he can have my current console, and no I did not post just to brag, I wanted to see the interest in the game and just talk about what people plan to get and what kind of other misc items could be in the LCE. Sorry to disappoint that I am not someone rich that likes to flaunt my money.
Now, onto a more productive topic, what do you think will be inside the LCE besides REQ packs and statue and steelbook? Do you think there will be more lore-related content like the journal in the reach legendary edition?

I have the LE pre-ordered and then I have the Xbox Elite controller pre-ordered as well. I bought the Halo edition Astro A50s about 2 months ago and those are working amazingly well for me so far.

Aren’t they just early access to those items? I think every item is obtainable regardless if you pre-order or not. You just have the instant download when you pre-order. I may be wrong though.
