When you complete the campaign on Solo Legendary (which I just did yesterday), you unlock the achievement Lone Wolf for 100 G. The art with the achievement shows Chief standing alone killing what seems like endless amount of Covenant Elites with Swords, but I noticed his gun looks similar to a Hydra, yet it is shooting fully automatic and you can see small caliber shells next to his helmet seemingly as the Assault Rifle. Maybe a sneak peek at a future weapon in H6? At the same time it doesnt make sense because it looks like it has the firing capability of a SAW but we really dont need another weapon like that

Well, it is concept art, maybe it was a concept of the SMG or something like that. It would be interesting to find out what it actually was supposed to be.

Its the Spartan Rifle.
I think it was a cut concept rifle. I also believe a lot of the concept art shows much of what we were originally going to see in Halo 5 before the rewrite.

no it’s not…
it’s a simple concept art with a weapon that most likely never even had an ingame modell, probably 343 didn’t even plan on using it, one of the Gears 4 concept arts used a weapon that was never considered to be in the game, the devs simply liked the look and included it into a concept art
