You know what really grinds my gears? People that focus only on kills in an objective game. They won’t touch the objective or do anything but rack up as many kills as they can good job going 50-4 but we lost the game because you wouldn’t touch the flag.
I’m sorry man.
Eh, I would rather some one go 50-4 and we lose that some one go 4-50 and we lose
I don’t mind people that only go for kills because they may be playing offense or defense in my favor. If the guy going 50-4 is doing well enough to prevent the enemy team from realizing the fat neon red Spartan running the opposite direction with their flag, then I’ll say he’s doing his part exactly how he’s supposed to. My only problem is when people are too afraid to advance or hunker down and we end up fighting wars of attrition or they set themselves up in a spot with maximum benefit to them and minimal benefit to their team (i.e. sitting in a spot they can kill people as they spawn, but out of sight from the bomb/flag carrier). It’s less about the role they play but rather the role they play in relation to the grand scheme of things.
Though, that’s to be expected. This is something that holds true across pretty much all FPS games, though admittedly Halo has it better than some others.
I hate playing people from other countries and halo 5 servers are so broken that the other team rubber bands all over the place or you just can’t kill the because your not actually shooting them because they are someplace else shooting you I’m ready for something more consistent to play this game has been dieing for a long time and its getting worse with every day
If someone goes 50-4 and you’re team still lost I don’t think it’s his fault at that point lol. What would the other team members be doing? Playing with their eyes closed?
If he’s putting down that many targets, you should thank him as he puts the entire team down, and grab their undefended flag.
Hell, I’d thank him. Might even give him a pat on the back for that display.

For real… if someone’s just running train on the enemy, where’s the rest of the team to pick up the objective while the enemy is stuck respawning? There are 4 sets of hands on a team and the flag doesn’t just grab itself lol.
Flag falls at the feet of the one doing the killing. That person is the only one there. That person patiently waits for the flag to be returned. All they needed to do was touch the flag. Same thing sometimes happens in strongholds. Kills everyone but never sets foot into a territory to either capture or prevent a capture.

Getting constantly shot maybe.
What grinds my gears is the fact when you’re on lopsided match whether winning or losing.
That’s a good gear grinder. Know what grinds mine? Team mates in sniper playlist that can’t use snipers to save their lives. So the other team is destroying us until they all back out and I’m the only spartan left with 4 mins until game ends or 7 kills until it’s over. They say Spartans never die, they’re just missing in action. Well some are quitters lol.
I usually focus on kills, but only to keep the other team suppressed.
…is when I drop 20 kills, but somehow still manage to lose the game. WTF.
We all hate those kind of people but unfortunately we are always going to have to deal with them
What really grinds my gears is “Where’s my Mark Of Shame emblem!!”
It does get annoying when people don’t do objectives (Even when it’s a noob)
But mostly they do that to weaken enemy contact so their team can grab the objective (Flag, Ball & Stronghold bases)
Griefing has been an issue forever lol, it’s in warzone too, not much can be done to assuage it
I don’t see anything wrong with this if at least two people are focusing on the objective. I almost always focus on kills to make it harder for the enemy team to focus on the objective. That’s where team coordination comes in and a lot of people suck at it.
Yeah dude same here. Although if those type of players are on the enemy team you can usually win the game pretty easily.

I’m somewhat guilty of that in big team battle, I don’t get quite that many kills, but I’ll escort our carrier and I dedicate myself to finding theirs and killing them. I do occasionally cap a flag.
