What good is armor lock if not sticky proof?

That was the whole point of armor lock, removing stickies and sploden ghosts. Now it’s uber useless.

You can still destroy ghost with it

And if you really miss it that bad, just go play Team Slayer

You can avoid damage from rockets/grenades with it, kill vehicles, or just general trolling!

i agree. the fact that it breaks from “taking damage” is -Yoinked!- up. Armor lock isnt supposed to “take damage”. what they should of really done with the update is put the class only on maps with vehicles. after all, it is ment for anti-vehicular combat.

CQC, massive damage avoidance, breaching entrenched enemy strongholds, distraction, EMP delivery and general chaos. The problem was the super “competitive” players threw a fit for a year and a half until another developer came in and started singling AA out for a nerf, while allowing some to keep all their exploits, for instance ,sprint/sword/shot-gun/double melee, where is the balancing of that? No worries, I can still deal even when my AA has been “balanced”, the irony is if they had their way, they would nerf it more LOL

It shouldn’t have been sticky proof in the first place. If you’re locked they should bounce off, but flinging them off after you’re already stuck is BS and you know it.

Lawlz at this thread and those who need Armor Lock. You do realize that sticking someone does require some skill right? And you also realize that pressing a button and nullifying it does not require skill? You can’t nullify a sniper shot to the head with the press of a button and you shouldn’t be able to nullify a stick. Just don’t use AL.

Just avoid TU “updated” gametypes. Vanilla is still fine even though there are few vanilla or reach gametypes left.

LOL Armor Lock. I love when I sticky an ALer and he tries to Armor Lock but dies anyway, massive -Yoink!- session ensues. I love the TU.

Armor Lock is still OP as it is. Anyone that uses it is bad.

it still has plenty of uses. just because its not your all powerful oops button anymore doesn’t make it useless. if you ever get stuck you should die. thats how it always has been and always will be. deal with it.

I did an experiment with my friend on the weekend.

We made a game with no shields but with a high D.R (Damage Resistance). One of the available AAs was armor lock.

I went into A.L. he was shooting at me and I was taking damage!
