I’m really worried about my account getting banned. I’m guilty of AFKing and deranking (jumping off the map a bunch of times), and credit glitching, I’ve only done these things a few times. Should I be worried about getting banned from matchmaking? I was also wondering what causes someone to be permanently banned from matchmaking? Cheating? “Deranking?” Credit glitching? What?

Why do you derank in a game that has no ranks?
Cr glitching if you mean challenge resseting will get you a lengthy ban but none of those will perma ban you. You actually have to do something such as mod or hack the game state of online multiplayer.
“Deranking”?
Only modifying online multiplayer, such has hacking, will get you permabanned. The ban’s are normally temporary, however you’ll likely get you rank and credits reset.
From personal experience, hacking of the games files in any sort of way will get you permanent REACH BAN, not a Matchmaking ban, a whole scale Reach ban, meaning you can not use any of the Xbox LIVE functions on Reach, including playing with friends in Customs, Forge, Campaign.
