I’m going to say, both!! Simply because in Halo 3 you have the Battle Rilfe, and in Reach you have all the armor abilities. Best of both worlds (and skills!!).

Also in Reach you have the DMR…but the jump height/movement is more like that of the trilogy…so yeah both

I’d probably say Reach but only because Halo 3 is showing it’s age. The netcode is awful and it’s really just an older title in regards to everything.
It seems entirely different than any previous Halo’s. So, I don’t know.

They were both awesome games, and hopefully the best of both worlds will be in Halo 4.
I have to agree with the other on here both games would be good practice I lean towards halo 3, because of the BR but then again it doesn’t have sprint and the AA like Reach does.
I’m leaning towards Halo Reach to practise, although Halo 3 will always be fun to play due to the Battle Rifle.
For movement and Battle Rifle: Halo 3.
For Armor Abilities(Minus Armor Lock) and weapons’ effective range: Halo: Reach
It looks like the best of both worlds, and revisions from both games’ mistakes are going to be in Halo 4. Try them out. Have fun!
As the game is going, I would callout Crysis 2, perfect match the H4 to time.
Zero Bloom in Reach is probably the best answer I can give you that doesn’t involve a joke about how the game’s going to be Call of Halo. So hard to resist poking.
Armor Abilities + No Bloom = MLG Playlist/Super Slayer… It just makes the most sense…
Well with the facts that Halo 4 is using a recycled Halo Reach Engine and every Halo game resembles its predecessor more so than any other Halo game. I’d say Halo Reach.
