What games do you guys think has a better progression system than Infinite and what does it consist of?
Maybe we can give 343 some better ideas as a community. Seems like they need all the help they can get.
I mean MCC has a better progression system, they could just copy their own work

Sarcastic Answer: What game (that has a progression system) doesn’t have a better progression system than Infinite?
Real answer: Halo Reach, MCC, and Halo 5 each had excellent progression. Halo 5’s career level would probably jive better with Infinite’s microtransactions, even though realistically most of us would love it to be more like Reach or MCC where we can just work and unlock things over time with in-game currency.
Can be any game outside of halo or from a different halo game.
I don’t think crowdsourcing the work is going to effect the change that needs to happen. Infinite as a whole has gotten to this point because the people being paid to think about this stuff didn’t land close to the mark in the first place and seemingly aren’t listening to community feedback.
This is what’s so utterly baffling - from what I can gather they had something that players liked with the customization, stat tracking, etc. and they threw it out for for seemingly no good reason. Sometimes I wish I could be a fly on the wall in one of their meetings to try and understand whose running the ship aground with the decision making.
Halo Reach and Halo 4 I would say are the BEST as progression systems go in Halo. Way better than Infinite’s cuz you can earn credits and xp by just playing regular matches instead of having to complete challenges. I don’t hate Infinite’s progression, (partially because I got the battle pass which makes it more fun) but I won’t lie and say Infinite is an imrovement, cuz it’s not. Feels a bit more tedious than what we used to get, and we at least got lots of armor for free, but hey, those were full-priced games, and Halo Infinite is free to play. They gotta make money somehow.
