I heard it’s from the microtransactions. If so, then I feel bad for the halo community. The money you spend goes to a group of 4. Instead it could have went into the game, for more mapspecific or for a finished campaign.
Its not good when a company cares about a very small percent of the gaming community.
Well I think it’s clever that little Tim spends his mother’s money to make someone else happy that he won in a competition in one of his favorite game series.

Part of the HWC was funded by REQ sales, at least enough to generate $1.5mil to add to the existing $1mil fund. The other $1mil will be where those monies generally come from - sponsorships / deals, pre-aallocated budgets from Microsoft, etc. Standard business stuff. The portion of REQ sales that aren’t going to HWC will be filtered back into budgets for use in future projects.
