What Extra Chief Mission would you add to Halo 5?

If you had the choice to add a single extra Blue Team mission to Halo 5’s campaign what would it be? When in the campaign would it be set? What would Chief be doing? Would he be fighting the Covenant, Promethean’s or some other foe entirely?

I would’ve changed the focus. The campaign would’ve focused on Blue team and referred to Osiris trying to chase them down/catch up to them. I know this isn’t a direct answer to your question but it would’ve resulted in more Blue team missions instead of Osiris

Thats defiantly a preferable option to what we ended up getting

They should have had a mission where the Chief and the Arbiter actually reunite. The last mission cutscene doesn’t even show them making eye contact.

I know, not even a “sup bro” to remind us they saved the galaxy together.

Buck really idolises MC and to give him his own fire team and set him on MC would’ve opened up so many avenues for great storytelling. Robocop, sorry, I mean Locke is just not an interesting character.

He could have been if they made his character what he was advertised to be. He could have been the Anti-Chief, the only Spartan who doesn’t worship him as a god. I was interested in the potential Locke had with his “All hail the conquering hero” speech and it was really disappointing this wasn’t expanded on in the game.

Yep, completely agree. I think alot of the complaints about the h5 campaign is that it felt like it was written by someone that didn’t give a damn about the history

Brian Reed killed off Jul 'Mdama in the first mission after spending books, comics and Spartan Ops setting him up as a major villain. What was he thinking?

Chief: I no he keps tring to stel mah thunda

I’d have a mission post Blue Team, pre-Reunion where Fred says “We’ve got the time. Now explain what’s going through your mind… Please.” to John.

After explaining his (John) fears about Cortana, if it is or isn’t her, the family all agree they must try to rescue their lost sister nonetheless.

Now, humanity has been explored, not glossed over in favour of a faux chase.

Maybe Chief didn’t recognize arbiter because of his new armour and less purple skin hahaha

But he defiantly recognised Chief, and yet not even a “Hello”
