In order to set aside school/work to play the anticipated Halo 4 what excuses will you be saying to your parents/bosses in the near future for game time during it’s release?
My excuse: Im a senior in HS, I bought the damn game myself, this is HALO 4 were talking about. and ugh cough cough Im feeling sick in 6 months haha
i have a week of paid vacation around that time every year. so im getting paid to play it

I am going to say that I’m sick, but since I’m in college it won’t even matter without a doctor’s note. And since I refuse to get a doctor’s note because I wont put down the controller, I guess I’ll just have to take an unexcused absence.

Same I take a week of of each halo release 
A week of Redbull and not a lot of sleep .
If I can’t get vacation time from the 5th for a week, I’m going to quit. I’m 19 and quitting one job isn’t going to affect me that much, if at all. I’ll have the LE, the Xbox, the Headsets anyways, so I’ll live.
on the 5th: play Halo CEA, then Halo 2, and then Halo 3. go to Midnight Launch at the GameStop, get my Halo 4 LE, Halo 4 Xbox, and Halo 4 Headsets, then go home, hook them up, play the entire Campaign on Normal, then play a Spartan Ops mission, then some Multiplayer.
on the 6th, wake up, play Halo 4 Multiplayer all day long, with the one Spartan Ops mission included. oh yeah, and I chose the option to not be able to vote (though I can always change that), so I don’t need to leave the house and vote, Mwahahahaha!
on the 7th, Forge. Forge. Forge. Forge. Forge. one Spartan Ops mission. Forge. Forge.
on the 8th, more Halo 4.
on the 9th, more Halo 4.
on the 10th, more Halo 4.
on the 11th, more Halo 4.
on the 12th, more Halo 4.
on the 13th, go back to work, and then get fired because I can’t concentrate because of Halo 4.
What excuse? I only attend college for three days each week – specifically each Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each week. So when November 6 roles by, which happens to be on a Tuesday, I’ll be off on that day. But anyway, I wouldn’t twag college even if Halo 4 were released on a college day, nor would I personally recommend the same for any on you.
Education and work is too important to miss. Once you’re done with school/college/work for the day, Halo 4 will still be there and ready for you to play.

I’m gonna man up and go to school that day. Yes I am hugely excited for Halo 4 and I will be bouncing off the walls in school that day, but education is more important. I will, however, not be sleeping the weekend after release when I will have a date with my TV, my Xbox, and a mini-fridge full of Mtn Dew and Red Bull.

It’s election day in the United States! Which means no school on november 6th, possibly the best timing in history of mankind.
I’m just giving up the social life until I hit the max skill rank, then going back to normal play where I just give up sleep a few nights a week.
I can afford to not go to college unless we are having a test on that day. And if I find a job by the time I’ll tell my manager that and old friend that I have not seen since 2007 is coming over.
There is no school in the us that day anyway, along with most businesses being closed as well.
