I don’t know, but hopefully they’re adding Infection and other social playlists in the next update. As for new maps, definitely. Actual, good, developer made, non-forged maps? I don’t know about that either.
And by the way, it’s “exactly”.
Seeing as how this game has been in development for years, it’s hard to believe they are currently creating maps. I think they already have all the content and are just figuring out what to release when. We already know forge was ready at launch if you look at the btb maps. The community builders had to build them, hand them off to the 343 play testers and editors, submit final designs, pass Microsoft cert, and get rolled out just a few weeks after launch. Forge had to have been there and ready when those maps got built. They aren’t building things, they are withholding things. Just my opinion.
I don’t even think 343 knows the answer to this.
they might be working on the january update so half the community will have new things to hate on the game

Judging by the current trend of dlc…I expect mostly just forge maps, they promised dlc until June. So far I haven’t seen anything worth calling AAA quality dlc yet. I doubt we’ll see any new game-modes since most of the things they updated like forge was only temporary disabled until they could patch it in later so they could mark it off as dlc. So if we’re due for any big dlc then it’s probably just going to be community maps that 343i picked and since I’ve seen no major trailers for the next big update yet…makes me think it’ll be either a minor update every few months with random community maps that they’ve found.
